I am passionate about research and putting policy into practice to deconstruct existing systems and create new structures that benefit the most disadvantaged communities in an inclusive and holistic way.

As a co-director of TRUE Research I am excited to work with people in a tailored way to listen to the voices of individuals and work together to find achievable solutions. Over the last ten years I have worked in mental health and the charity sector and completed my studies in international development. I am interested in the intersections of mental health, identity and politics and always keen to learn new things.

As a founder, TRUE stemmed from recognizing that we/I don’t have all the answers but I know who does. I strive to share this knowledge so that those in a position to support and make change are ready to ask themselves, Are we Fit for Purpose!

We can all learn and we can all grow and it starts from the roots down not up. On my journey, I have recognized that it’s the voices most marginalised that are most important to make real change. The best intentions can cause the most unintentional harm. Working in this field for over 10 years has given me a vast amount of experience and knowledge which, by itself, I have found useless, but as a collective can be life-changing to individuals, groups, and communities.

I am a multidimensional woman who enjoys listening to the soul-led ambitions of conscious leaders and working with them to conceptualise strategic and spiritual approaches to bring them to life.

In my role as a strategist for TRUE, I serve as a sounding board to explore the ideas of the team whilst offering professional advice and recommendations to strengthen stakeholder relationships and develop the wide range of services offered to our clients.

I create my most magical work when feeling my way around a problem intuitively and infusing joy into everything I do so that I spark enthusiasm for everyone involved!

Alongside this, I am a blogger, mentor and TEDx speaker with over a decade of experience working as a Policy Advisor within the public, private and international charity sectors.
